For as long as I can remember, I always love papers. It started with me collecting stationery when I was in elementary school. I bought and traded beautiful and cute designed papers. I truly enjoyed looking at these beautiful papers. In early 2004, I tried to make my own handmade papers. This hobby however did not last long. I realized that if I wanted to continue making papers I needed an open (and bigger) space to do all the mixing and drying where small apartment might not be ideal in this case. Around the same time, a co-worker invited me to a stamping party. Since then I’m hooked in card making and scrapbooking. In the beginning, I sold mostly cards and occasionally gift tags. As I make more gift tags, I received more custom requests to make tags for certain themes. My shop has slowly evolved from making favor tags to other party decorations such as banners, cupcake toppers, door signs, napkin rings, teabag favors, stickers, invitations etc. My target audience are moms with little kids, or grandparents and friends who plan for baby showers, as well as brides-to-be for wedding stationery and decorations.
We travel so much between Canada and Indonesia. Both are our homes at this point of life. My shop remains open wherever we are at these two homes. My items are not necessarily made in Canada all the time as I do sometimes reside in Asia. Maybe I can refer to it as “made by Canadian”? My products are unique because you pretty much can personalize them. Custom orders are welcome.
It is hard to pick a favorite as I do love each one of them. Each cute design makes me smile and that’s why I love what I do. It is not hard to be in a happy mood when you work with celebration-related items. Two of my popular items are Alice in Wonderland Teabag favors that are perfect for a baby shower or wedding and Adorable Owl Cupcake Toppers for a birthday or baby shower party.
